DEATH  Pray for the repose of the soul of Pauline Donnelly (née Redican)  Rahara, Roscommon & formerly Clonfanlough (sister of Maureen (USA), Rosaline (Tullamore), Oliver (Tullow) whose funeral took place during the week.. May she rest in peace.

 DOON / SHANNONBRIDGE GAA LOTTO -

The winning numbers in last week’s lotto draw were 4, 6, 15, 26. Congratulations to jackpot winner Paddy Molloy, GEM Hardware who received €5,600. Three match 3 winners. This week’s jackpot is €2,000 and the draw will be held in Doon on Monday 25th February.

BAPTISM PREPARATION - The next meeting for parents in our pastoral area who have a child for baptism will be held in the Parochial House in Ballinahown on  Thursday 14th March from 8pm to 9pm. Subsequent pre-baptism meetings are scheduled for Thursday 11th April and Thursday 16th May. Parents are asked to contact their local priest about attendance at these meetings.            

SHANE HYNES People have been asking if they can help in any way since Shane fell ill just before Christmas. His road to recovery is a long one and by way of assisting in some small way– a function has been arranged with Rachra GAA  for Saturday, March 23rd in Killeens. People will be selling tickets (€10) and your support is deeply appreciated.
