Questions people ask
Q. Praying to God is important to me, but I find it hard to pray to Mary or the Saints. Should I feel guilty about this?
A. Prayer to Mary or the Saints is not obligatory, but it can be very meaningful and helpful. If we can ask people here on earth to pray for us it makes sense that we can also ask the saints in heaven to pray for us. Many times in life we feel stronger when others accompany us. Similarly, on our journey to God many people feel stronger in the great company of the friends of God. (Fr O'Flynn)
