A Day for Life - today 7th Oct
'Day for Life' is our annual celebration of the sacredness of human life from the womb to the tomb. The Catholic Church is pro-life, and it is at the heart of what we believe. Please read the leaflet & say the prayer, which is printed on it.

It is proposed to have the Christmas Party in Clonfanlough Hall on Sun 25th Nov, and in Shannonbridge on Fri 7th Dec.

Anniversary of the canonisation of St Oliver Plunkett
Takes place on Fri 12th Oct. It is a National Day of Prayer in Thanksgiving for the peace thus far achieved.
A new DVD on his life & heroic martyrdom, plus an interview with the Italian lady who was miraculously cured through his intercession, is now available for €10.00. It plays for 68 minutes. It is available from St Mary's Parish, Drogheda, (tel. 041-9836908.)

Aware - Helping to fight depression.
Public Lecture on Stress Management in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore on Mon 15th Oct @ 8pm. Speaker is John Bannon.
Adm is free, and all are welcome.

Mental Health - "Let's talk about it"
AIT, in the Earl of Ross Lecture Theatre, Sat 13th Oct, 9am - 4pm.
Cost is €15. 00, including a light lunch.
