Shannonbridge Fishing Report Dated
Some light rain today after a fine sunny week. The river level is 2.35 metres.
Good news that the local power is back in operation and producing electricity
and hot water for the fish. There is a good flow on the rivers.

- Paul Cox from
using lunchmeat sweetcorn and maggot to catch 18 lbs of roach perch and rudd.
- On 1st Oct Marc Edelman from
catching three pike weighing 18 lbs, 16.5 lbs and 13 lbs. All returned alive.
- Schmied Yosef from
using Gummi lures to catch three pike. One measured one metre.
The other two were 80 cm. All returned alive.
- Alexander Kubicu from
also catching three pike measuring 85, 70, 70 cm.
- Dariusk Greoski from
and used dead bait to catch his first pike that measured 96 cm.
- Mass Mir-hosseini from
using a dead trout to catch his first pike that weighed 21 lbs.
- John Wilkinson from Hartfordshire fished on a fine 7th Oct using smelt and herring
to catch four pike weighing 4, 5, 7 and 12 lbs.
- Eric Van De Meer from
Rapala lure to catch five pike ( best was 95 cm ) and some good perch. All returned.
- Three
based at Ashbrook Guesthouse started their fishing Sunday 7th Oct on the Suck
using maggots to catch 40 lbs of roach in sunshine.
On Monday 8th the trio fished on the
50 lbs of roach and skimmers.
