Blessing of the Graves
We hope to have Mass with the blessing on Fri 10th Aug @ 7pm in the 'New' Cemetery, Clonmacnois.
Pattern Sunday, Clonmacnois
The Bishop will lead the celebration on Sun 9th Sep, which is the actual feast of St Ciarán.
We ourselves, locally, will celebrate the feast on Fri eve 7th Sept.

Prayer Centre Clonmacnois: Mass every Wed @ 8pm.
Youth 2000 will have a Vigil Service from 11pm to 4am on 20th - 21st July in the Centre, starting with Mass. All welcome to pray for the renewal of faith & evangelisation of Ireland. Clonmacnois Monastic Site
Brian Friel's Play 'Making History' will be staged on the Site on Wed 18th July @ 8pm. Tickets: €20 adult; €15 concession. Ticket numbers are limited, as the event will be fully seated and covered.


National Learning Network
The Fresh Start Training Programme in Athlone has a limited number of vacancies for Sept. This is a FÁS approved Vocational course for people with special needs, recovering from illness, or unemployed, and aims to build confidence, up-skill and help reach potential in the workplace. (No Fees).

BreastCheck Screening in Westmeath
Free breast x-rays (mammograms) are offered to women aged 50-64, at the mobile unit based at St Vincent's Hospital Athlone.
