Kathleen's parents were Mick Mc Cormack and Kathleen Mc Manus who once lived in Leitra.By coincidence Kathleen told us that she was a twin sister to Father Ignatius Mc Cormack who preached the homily at The Pattern in Clonmacnois on Sunday last.Kathleen promised to get a copy of the homily for posting on this web site.

Results for this years Tidy Town Competition were posted on the papers on Tuesday.
Today was generally dry with sunshine. The river level has risen and there is a good chunk of water on the callows.
