The level of the river at Shannonbridge today is 2.67 metres.
There are a number of what are called non-national anglers

to find out what they caught.Yesterday one of those purchased
six wire traces used for pike fishing in the afternoon.
On enquiring had he caught many fish he replied 'No Fish, No Fish',
>Ten year old Jonois Kersken from Dusseldorf fished the Shannon on
17th October using worm on a fine day to catch three perch.Released.
>On 21/10 Jord v Zelst from Holland who is also ten years old
fished the Shannon on a fine day using float and maggot to catch
ten roach which were also released.
>David Mullee from Kilteel fished at Shannonbridge on 5th October
David used a spinner and caught and released a pike weighing 20 lbs.
Good to see English anglers Derek and Mike visiting Shannonbridge
for the weekend.
