Division Two League.
Shannonbridge got back to winning ways with a 4-10 to 3-6 victory over Durrow, at Shannonbridge, on Thursday evening. A dream start saw the home side go into a three goal lead, after Trevor Mahon was hauled down for a penalty, converted by Karol Kelly. This was quickly followed by Kelly’s second goal and a third, in a move started and finished, by Philip Egan. Durrow goals in the seventeenth and twenty eight minutes closed the gap at half time to 3-4 to 2-2. Points on the restart by Kieran Flannery and Paul Deeley, followed by Kelly’s third goal put the game out of Durrow’s reach who scored their third goal in the twenty first minute. Team: R. Ryan, W.
