Shannonbridge GAA Notes

Division Four League.
Shannonbridge defeated St. Bridgid’s by a five point margin, at Shannonbridge, on Wednesday evening last. In difficult conditions, after an evenly contested first half, the teams were level at five points each. Paul Moloney opened the scoring after three minutes, followed by points from Paul Deeley, John Guinan, Anthony Kelly and Roger Ryan. The home side started strongly in the second half with points from Deeley, Mark Carty and Ryan. John Guinan scored a point and followed up with a goal bound shot which was well saved. St. Bridgid’s were unlucky to hit four wides in succession and Shannonbridge finished comfortably 0-11 to 0-6.

Division Two League v Ballyfore, on Wednesday 1st June, at Ballyfore, 7.30pm.
Division Four League v Raheen, on Thursday 2nd June, at Shannonbridge, 7.30pm.

Shannonbridge / Doon Lottery.
There was no winner of last week’s jackpot. The numbers drawn were 11, 13, 14 and 28 and there were no match three winners. An extra €200 has been added to this week’s jackpot making a total of €8,200.
