Expect to see a photo of John Gleeson's monster pike in the photo gallery soon. Weighing over 28 lbs the pike was caught and released on 23rd December. Oliver Darcy was viewing the recent photograph of himself and the Gander and Goose on a printout and said he was the prettiest of the three.
Rose Glennon and her friend Joan Carty were at Bingo in Athlone last night and Rose won the Jackpot of 500 Euro. As usual they called into Shannonbridge and celebrated. Rose told us that she ran out of Moore Lotto tickets which might be a reflection on her sponsoring a round of drinks.
