Tom and Violet Brennan were a quite couple who retired from working in England some years ago and bought a house once owned by Ned and Brigie Cassidy. They did not have a car and the lack of public transport got to them.
Recently they sold the house to Martin Donegan and on Saturday started the return trip to England stopping off for a few weeks with a daughter in Portarlington. Wishing them the very best and sorry Shannonbridge was not a suitable choice.
Pat Killeen was home for the weekend and returned to the clinic in Dublin this morning.
