Among the group from Castledaly Manor that visited Shannonbridge yesterday was Donald Wheeler from Sheboygan ( Indian for Thundering River ). Donald is the owner of The Map and Globe Exchange dealing in maps, charts, globes, atlases, travel books and guides etc. His first time in Ireland and is enjoying the visit.
With strong winds and rains over the past few days the Shannon has turned into a Sheboygan in its own rite and has begun to flood onto the callows.
