Lily Flannery tells us that English angler Jeff Widdowson and his four brothers have come on fishing holidays for about 25 years basing themselves at Haydeds Hotel.Jeff came twice a year as well as holidaying in Spain. Jeff died on 10th December last and this week his wife family and friends arrived in Haydens to carry out Jeff's last wishes which were to bury his ashes in The River Shannon which they did.
