Big day today for about a dozen children from the parish when they will be confirmed by Bishop Colm O Reilly in Clonfinlough church at 4pm.
Parish Bulletin tells us that the total amount collected for Trocaire in the parish during Lent was £3,230. Trocaire is the agency set up by the Catholic Bishops to help fight Famine.
