Enjoyed Rose's jackdaw collection and was telling Jimmy Mooney about it last night. Jimmy said he was doing some tidying up around the old house and came across a small stamped silver spoon probably used for mustard that had not tarnished and he remembers finding it when cleaning the rain gutters about 35 years ago obviously dropped off by an upperclass crow.
Noticed last evening that the entrance track to Mark Carty's site has been laid. The site is on the village side of Ashbrook Farm on the same side of the road.
Was in Raghrabeg on Monday and saw the site for Aidan Carry's new house alongside O'Briens old house. Glad to hear that Aidan plans to restore this old house later.
