Our webmaster Mike Thornhill is into the diving and recently got a new Dry Suit which means you don't get wet in the water. On Saturday night he was eager to try it out. Before jumping into the Shannon near the cruiser mooring a swan that was swimming nearby approached right up to the bank maybe attracted by the hissing noises from the air tanks as the swan hissed a warning to clear off that this was its territory.
Mike has set up Kate with a link and she will do the odd bit of writing from Uganda. Kate leaves tomorrow and we wish her a safe journey.
