The Scottish born nun that used to work in Daycare in Portiuncula for many years paid on visit to Shannonbridge on Saturday to enjoy the sunshine.She recently celebrated her Golden Anniversary as a nun but tells us she joined up in England and was three years in preparation before taking her vows.She is looking forward to the completion of a new retirement home near the hospital in Brackernagh which will cater for about sixty nuns.Many of these nuns will be from the missions as well as Irish based nuns.Remember her name ?
