Today is the sixth anniversary of the death of Frank Sinatra and was expecting Val Joyce on his Late Date radio programme last night to have a number of Frank's songs but he seemed to be celebrating the operetta composers Gilbert and Sullivan.Maybe tonight. He played a song sung by Ciaran Sheehan who is performing four concerts in Ireland next week. Maureen Killeen who is home from Chicago told us that Ciaran Sheehan's mother were both pregnant together for the first time and met in the hospital.Discussing names for babies Maureen had her mind to call hers Ciaran if it was a boy and Shannon if it was a girl. It was a girl and was christened Shannon. Mrs Sheehan's baby was born and she asked Maureen would she mind if she named her boy Ciaran.
And so it happened.
