Golf hit the news big time in Shannonbridge at the weekend when two of our village golfers won the cups in Ballinasloe Golf Club.
Shane Kelly had a score of 73 Gross to win the Junior Scratch Cup.
Vincent Costelloe was the winner of the Intermediate Scratch Cup with a Gross of 80. Congratulations and well done to both.
