Bits and pieces.Corncrake people told us today that they have 14 birds identified including one hovering between Morans Island and Boranagh. He had not heard of the ones above Clonmacnois but will check them out this evening.
Our man Padraig Harrington was defending his title in the German Open at weekend and had a putt to draw but missed.Came second.
Good to see Christy Mc Evoy from Clonfert in Shannonbridge yesterday.

Declan Price has resumed the fishing game and caught a load of skimmers on the backwater.He is presently repairing a fiber glass rod and is also on the Westlife group --see below.

It pays to walk Moby as proven by Ernie Barry from West Brom who is on holiday with George Stokes.Ernie is not a fisherman and walked Moby for two evenings. Then he had a go at fishing and caught two tench weighing 4.5 and 3.5 pounds.He has been hooked.
