Moby took George Stokes and myself for a walk to the new jetty last evening and as we passed Cora's cottage which was once Reids we noticed that some of the lovely creeper has started to grow there again.By coincedence this morning Pat mentioned Mary Margaret Reid and how she used to keep her brothers suits immaculate by washing the suits in boiled ivy which was used long before the modern washing powders. Pat was using another Mary Margaret idea for cleaning fluff and dirt from a skirt which is to use a dampened nylon.
Checked on the other two birdboxes last evening but saw no sign of a bird.Must ask John Price to have a look.
